George Frideric Handel Hanging Decoration
This hanging decoration is inspired by none other than George Frideric Handel himself (1685-1759). Born in Germany in 1685, he first came to London in 1710 and moved into 25 Brook Street in 1723, which is why Handel & Hendrix in London exists today! Handel's Messiah as well as many of his other operas and oratorios were composed at Brook Street, where he lived for 36 years. Although the composer died peacefully in his sleep in 1759, his legacy still very much lives on through the Handel House Museum today.
Made of felt and measuring at 15 cm in height, this hanging decoration's design features lovely detail in blue and gold and shows Handel holding a music score.
